Welcome to 6G Wireless Summit – the leading conference defining the global 6G research vision – which will be organized in Levi, Finland for the second time in March 2020!
6G Wireless Summit 2020 will feature keynotes, invited talks, tutorials, technical sessions, special sessions, posters, panels and demonstrations by leading academics and stakeholders in industry, operators and the public sector.
The global event will continue the success of the first 6G Wireless Summit held in March 2019.
The event organized by the 6G Flagship research program launched the process of identifying the key drivers, research requirements, challenges and essential research questions towards 6G.
Views and ideas that experts shared at the first 6G Wireless Summit were published in world’s first 6G White Paper in September 2019 with a focus on ubiquitous wireless intelligence.
A new release of the 6G White Paper will be published as a major outcome of the 6G Wireless Summit 2020.
We call for highly innovative, state-of-the-art contributions in the form of original papers and posters in all areas related to 6G research including, but not limited to:
Track 1: Wireless connectivity | New coding, modulation, detection and decoding techniques, spectrum access and channel models, AI/ML inspired algorithms for wireless communications, positioning and sensing, MTC, URLLC, MIMO/massive MIMO |
Track 2: Devices and circuit technologies | Next generation device forms, radio hardware progress and challenges, transceiver architectures, antenna and RF solutions, materials |
Track 3: Distributed computing | Networking paradigms, trust and security, virtualization techniques, distribution of computation and data, machine learning, sensing, imaging, computing and software technologies, edge computing |
Track 4: Services and applications | Societal drivers and requirements, business ecosystems and platforms, regulations, KPIs, use cases, service enablers, human interactions |
Papers should not be longer than five A4 pages in IEEE two-column format, 10pt, according to the IEEE template https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
Accepted full papers that have been presented at the summit will appear in IEEE Xplore. Submissions will be handled by EDAS https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=26955
POSTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Poster papers will be peer-reviewed. The evaluation criteria include:
(1) extent and significance of the new research idea or compelling novel applications; (2) relevance to 6G Summit scope; (3) potential impact on the audience; (4) quality of presentation.
The poster paper should be presented in the form of a short technical paper (no more than 2 pages) using the IEEE template
